Colon Cleansing Diet

Colon cleansing is so important to all people and the sad fact is, many people don't understand how important it is to clean their bowels.  The bowels are an area that many people simply don't like to think about, but they understand that evacuation is a necessary process.  Although many doctors might understand the purpose of bowel cleansing, it's not something that they might feel comfortable educating their patients about.  However, people would be absolutely stunned and shocked if they knew what the consequences of a dirty bowel system was, and how important it is to do cleansings.  People are constantly being educated about external hygiene.  However, unless a person is hygienic from the inside out, they'll have challenges on the outside! 

Not only this, but if a person is congested inside, they'll experience a host of internal problems that are directly connected to this.  For example, people don't realize that they won't be able to lose weight if they aren't clean from the inside out.  This is because being dirty on the inside creates toxins.  These toxins creates hormonal imbalances.  They also cause symptoms such as nausea, bloating, headaches, and fatigue.   And so the cycle continues; a person feels bad, so they eat unhealthy.  They eat unhealthy, and then they fill the body full of waste.  The toxic body can't perform in a way that is healthy, or that encourages healthy weight loss.

Here's a look at some food groups that people eat every day that supports the cleansing of their insides:

Fiber

Everybody knows that fiber is a bulk material that helps to move waste out of the insides.  It works in two ways; it pushes waste material out, and while it is traveling to the bowels, it scrapes the insides. However, the thought of going to the grocery store to buy powdered fiber, or fiber pills might be distasteful for many people, because it makes them feel old.  There are lots of fibrous foods that they can eat beyond eating grains, although whole-grain breads and products certainly work.  A person can also eat fiber from fruits and vegetables that will help to create bulk in their system.

Fruits

Fruits help to clean out the insides for couple reasons.  Number one, fruits are filled with enzymes that help to break down food as it is being digested.  Digested food products will be able to be assimilated into the bloodstream better, and this means less waste product in the bowels.  Not only this, but there are a variety of fruits that are naturally full of fiber, such as apples.  Apples are actually excellent fruits for bowel cleansing.

Vegetables

Vegetables are excellent for an internal cleanse, for a couple reasons.  Number one, vegetables are filled with water, and the water is needed to help lubricate one's insides.  On top of this, there are plenty of fibrous vegetables.  With the accommodation of water, these vegetables will help get waste products moving along.  In addition to that, many vegetables have enzymes that along with  fruits, help to break down food that is being digested.

Oils

People might not think of natural oils as being part of a cleansing program, but there are certain oils that most certainly can assist the body with elimination.  This is because these natural oils helps to lubricate one's insides.  It is been suggested that a person should ingest olive oil, coconut oil, or other natural fruit oil.  A good source of oil to help with elimination, are avocados.  Avocados are packed full of their own oils, and the avocado fruit is full of fiber.

Foods To Avoid

When a person is serious about an internal cleanse, they need to stay away from anything as that is fried in bad oils, anything sugary, or anything full of preservatives.  These foods only add to the problems.

Drinks To Avoid

If a person is serious about an internal cleanse, then they need to avoid drinks that are sugary, or drinks that are full of preservatives.  This includes diet sodas and drinks.  People might think that they are drinking something healthy, because it doesn't have natural sugar.  However, the body has a harder time digesting these drinks that are full of chemicals, because these are unnatural to the body.  Many times, these chemicals can slow down the body and in the process, slow down the elimination process.
